Payment Methods
We are happy to take PayPal online, Visa, Mastercard, and Interac in store; sorry no
cheques.
Sales Tax
Moons & Runes is required by law to charge 5% GST on all products. This tax is added
into the total at checkout. The customer is solely responsible for all other sales taxes and
duties on orders shipped to any other province outside of Alberta and International.
Order Acceptance Policy
Moons & Runes reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. We also
reserve the right to alter the price of all items we carry at any time, as stated by our
policy: Prices Subject to Change without Notice.
Custom Cloak Orders
All items ordered that are outside of our normal stock are to be paid in full prior to
ordering.
Cloaks; we work as a liaison between our client and our designer(s). Sizes, materials,
colours, etc. are arranged either in person or email correspondence. The client, once it is
agreed that the order is to their specifications, will pay Moons & Runes in full for the cost
of the garment. It takes approximately 2-4 weeks for the items to be made, depending if
the materials are immediately available at the time of order.
Items cannot be ordered until full payment is received.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to
typographical error, error in pricing, product information received from our suppliers, etc,
Moons & Runes will attempt to contact you by phone or email before canceling the order
or item that is incorrect.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices listed on our website will be the
most accurate and up to date. If our suppliers raise their prices, then we have to raise
ours.
Back Order Policy
From time to time we will sell out of an item in our store and it may be several hours for it
to appear on this site, as Sold Out. In the event this occurs you will be notified by email
that the item(s) of interest are sold out. You may then choose an alternate item of equal
cost to the one you purchased, or you may request a refund, or we will list this as a back
order and will ship it to you once we receive it. Back ordered items may take 2-4 weeks to
arrive to us depending on the availability from our suppliers. This does not include the
time it will take to ship to you from Moons & Runes. On occasion, without notice, our
supplier will discontinue an item that we carry. When this occurs, you will again be
notified with the options of choosing another similar item, or request a refund.
Return Policy:
EXCHANGE ONLY; NO REFUNDS; on both in-store and shipped products. Item(s) must be
in re-sellable condition unless it is a manufacturers defect. For example: Don't return to
us a book that got wet, or a set of runes that are missing pieces...because you 'changed
your mind'...if you damaged it, it now belongs to you. The additional treatments of these
returns are as follows:
RETURNS (that pertain to shipped items): If you want to return a product to Moons &
Runes you must contact us within 7 days of receipt of product by e-mailing
cerridwen@moonsandrunes.com or by calling us at 403-620-3597. You must have the
tracking number to refer to. Moons & Runes will only accept items for return that are
approved and given an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Returns will be
subject to a 10% restocking fee.
RETURNS (that pertain to in-store purchased items): 7 day return policy, item must be in
re-sellable condition unless manufacturer defect is cause of return.
Due to the increase in shipping costs we reserve the right to bill your account for all
shipping fees billed to us due to a package being returned or refused without prior
approval.
DAMAGES: If you are missing any merchandise from your order, or have received
damaged items, put the package aside and contact us within 10 days so we may get the
issue resolved in a timely manner. Moons & Runes will, upon your request, replace any
merchandise that is received in damaged condition or as a result of a picking error. No
merchandise will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return
such merchandise. Filing of damage claims or missing package claims with the shipping
provider (UPS, or Canada Post) will be the responsibility of the client; we are not
responsible for items once they leave our store. We will not replace items lost by
shipping providers. The item(s) must have been damaged due to poor shipping handling
or manufacturers defects. It will not be replaced due to client misuse or abuse.

Are currently shown at checkout. This is based on current shipping cost trends, distance
and weight. These are subject to change without notice as the market changes.
International customers may be contacted with additional charges above what is shown in
the checkout.

Shipping
Items in stock: 1-2 days to process order; you will be notified once shipped by Moons &
Runes.
Items out-of-stock/backorder: 2-4 weeks depending on availability from wholesaler.
Canada Post is used for our shipping, as it is the most cost effective. If you prefer UPS
please indicate this to us during your order, and we will send you a separate invoice for
that total. We will provide you a tracking number upon request. Once items leave our
store it is no longer our responsibility. Tracking the package is the responsibility of the
consumer and any shipping concerns are between the client and Canada Post or UPS.
Privacy Policy
Moons & Runes does not share customer information including email's, phone numbers,
or postal mail addresses with anyone. It is not our policy to spam nor do we send
unwanted postal mail. Any batch email's sent out will be only to notify customers of new
or sale items as well as special offers and sales.
